The Trading Challenge entry fee is $200 $150 per participant, allowing registration up to October 3rd at 9:00 AM ET.

The trading competition begins on Monday, October 3rd at 9:30AM ET and ends at 4PM ET on Friday, October 28th .

The competitor is given 20 trading days to compete as the markets are closed on weekends.

The trading competition will commence on October 3rd at 9:30 AM ET in which the contestant’s simulated account will be set with $100,000 buying power intraday ($25k x 4) and $50,000 buying power for overnight ($25k x 2). Over the course of the 20 trading days, each contestant’s daily balance and profit & loss will be broadcast in real-time on our Ranking leader board. At the end of the competition, the trader with the highest P/L will be the 1st place winner. Any updated listing of the standings will be posted daily by 9:00 am ET.

Trading will be allowed during normal market hours: 9:30am – 4:00 pm ET. Pre- market & Post-market trades are not allowed.

Overnight Trades are allowed as this is a swing trading competition.

On the last day of the competition (10/28/22) the account must be flat before 4PM ET. Any positions held after the market close will result in disqualification.

Account which reflects no trading up to 14 days after the month begins will be closed and terminated from the competition. Any account which drops below 0 equity while holding positions intra-day will be liquidated and not permitted to continue trading.

Overnight positions are allowed during this competition.

As this round is intended for novice and not professional traders, if your trading style is deemed to be gaming or professional, we have the right to disqualify you from the competition.

This competition allows you to trade any Listed equities, and ETFs. Pinksheets/OTC, options, futures, bonds, ADFs and forex are not part of this competition). Equities includes all stocks listed on Nasdaq, NYSE and AMEX.

• Individuals may not hold short and long positions in the same stock at the same time.
• May not trade low Float securities (Stocks which has less than 5% outstanding shares to FLOAT ratio)
• May not trade Unshortable stocks (Stocks may be added if it can be borrowed per request).
• May not engage in manipulative trading practices such as layering, spoofing, front-running, bear raiding, cornering, wash trading, painting the Tape, etc.

• This is an Equities/ETFs  trading competition. Options, Futures, E-minis etc. will not be permitted. You may buy, sell, sell short and cover almost all NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX stocks (common and preferred).
• Individuals may not hold short and long positions in the same stock at the same time.
• Writing Naked Option is not allowed
• Each trade is limited to 2500 shares per order.
• May not hold more than $50K in each securities.

A commission rate of $3.95 is applied to all transactions. Commission will be charged to both opening and closing transactions. This fee comes out of your paper trading competition account.

ECN fees will be charged at 0.003/share for removing liquidity, and 0.002/share rebated if liquidity is added. Please note that if a limit order is a marketable limit order it will remove liquidity such as a range order since it will place an order to trigger at the bid and ask. In order to add liquidity the order needs to be either above bid or below ask.

• Past winners from any prior competitions are not allowed to enter. This includes winners that were in first, second or third place.
• Minimum age requirement of 18 Years old.
• Must have an email address.
• Possess a valid photo ID.
• Must have necessary approval to travel freely in the US (valid VISA or US persons)

Prizes may be claimed up to 30 days after the official announcement of the winners of the competition. If after 30 days a prize is not claimed then the prize cannot be awarded as it has become null and void.

There will be no substitute prizes offered. You may opt to not receive the prize or gift it to somebody locally.

DAS Backpack will be given to you if you attend the bell ringing in NY. This will be determined at a later date and all winners will be informed of the scheduled date. This item will not be shipped.

The Nasdaq tour offer is valid for 1 year from winning the event.

DAS Trader Pro is a Windows based download application and will not run natively on a Macintosh computer
